About 6:45, Richard Veit will present the unusual "New Jersey Cemeteries and Tombstones." Towards the end, Roxane Orgill will present her book about Count Basie, "Dream Lucky." Frank Finale will end with his books about the Jersey Shore, "To The Shore Once More, Volumes I & II." Other authors presenting are: Jeffrey Cohen - "Some Like It Hot-Buttered," "It Happened One Knife," and "A Night at the Operation," a three volume mystery series set. Victoria Granite and Gary Miksza, co-authors of "How to Speak Bayonnease: The Secret Language of Bayonne, New York's 6th Borough." Perdita Buchan - "Utopia, New Jersey." All authors will have their books available for purchase and will be there to meet and greet readers. THE LITERARY EVENT OF THE SUMMER AT THE JERSEY SHORE!

At the same time, prominent authors whose books are either about Spring Lake or relate in some way to the Jersey Shore’s most elegant town, will be at each inn meeting fans, selling, and signing their most recently published books.

Tickets: The cost for the ‘Authors & Inns’ Tour is $12. (a non-refundable donation) with proceeds given to the Spring Lake and Sea Girt Public Libraries.

   Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling 732-859-1465 for details or purchased at participating inns, The Spring Lake Chamber of Commerce, or Sea Girt Pubic Library. On the day of the tour, tickets can be purchased at the Spring Lake Public Library. Each ticket will include a self-guided map of Authors & Inns for visitors’ convenience.    A total of 500 tour tickets will be sold. Guests staying for the Friday/Saturday weekend will receive a complimentary Tour Ticket and guests checking in on Sunday for one-night will receive a tour ticket plus special accommodation rate at each participating Inn. All Inn guests are invited to a private Post-Tour Reception attended by innkeepers and authors.
